This is a compilation of Modern/Kent recordings from 1950-51 and is one of the pinnacles of the Lonesome & Dirty Blues world..
With its deep, withering vocals, which sometimes sounded even terrific, and a guitar that moved nimbly and uninhibitedly, this is one of Lightnin's top-class recordings in his storytelling style. No one can escape the devilish charm of these dense blues
