PRE-ORDER: Buddy Miller - Nothing But a Child / On The Road to Bethlehem (INDIE EXCLUSIVE, RED VINYL) [Vinyl]

Buddy Miller has spent three decades as one of Americana's most trusted voices — a GRAMMY-winning guitarist, producer, and songwriter whose fingerprints are all over records by Emmylou Harris, Robert Plant, Alison Krauss, and Steve Earle. Now he brings that same lived-in warmth to the holidays, pairing a devotional original from Julie Miller with a beloved Steve Earle classic on a strictly limited red 7" vinyl pressing — the kind of collectible that turns up under the tree and stays in rotation every December after.
Side A, "Nothing But a Child," is Steve Earle's enduring nativity ballad, and Miller treats it like a hymn — spare, hushed, and aching with reverence. It's a wise-men's journey that lands on the oldest Christmas truth there is: sometimes it takes nothing but a child to lead a weary world back into the light.
Side B, "On the Road to Bethlehem," is a Julie Miller original built on a gently rolling gospel pulse — an open-armed invitation to the needy, the sick, and the sinful alike. It's mercy set to melody, and it plays beautifully against Earle's classic.
Two songs, one gorgeous red disc, and a whole lot of Christmas spirit from an artist revered across Americana, country, and roots music. This is a must-stock for holiday endcaps, gift shoppers, and the collectors who chase every limited Buddy Miller pressing.
