An extremely rare classic 1957 Christmas single from the New York City-based Onyx Records label features the vocalist Phil Allen with the single "A Wish" b/w "Chestnuts Mister?" which was written and arranged by the late Chris Towns who was a famed New York based musician, composer and arranger for such artists as Johnny Mathis, Gloria Lynne, Dizzy Gillespie and Brook Benton. As a pianist, Towns toured with Jackie Wilson, Etta Jones, Chuck Jackson and performed with Otis Blackwell on original demos of material for Elvis Presley. This ultra-rare 45 has been newly remastered for this exclusive release that will make the holiday season even brighter.
