The singer Peter Majanen took a detour from budding pop stardom to become a scientist and an entrepreneur. After taking a master class with singer Gino Vannelli, best known in the U.S. for his string of late 1970-1980's hits, Vanelli was sufficiently impressed to offer to produce Majenen's belated debut that marries romance with lush arrangements of songs both familiar and new.
