M Theodorakis / Krumin,Johanna / Schone,Peter - Echowand - Lieder [CD]

On July 29, 2015 composer Mikis Theodorakis will celebrate his 90th birthday. In honor of this occasion, Soprano Johanna Krumin and baritone Peter Schöne offer this collection of thirteen of the composer's songs. Regarded as somewhat of a political hero, Theodorakis has given a face and a voice to the Greek people. This project aims to be a musical homecoming, a return to his beginnings in the form of pure music free from all external constraints.
