Recorded in Havana in the late 1950's, these vintage sessions feature the debut recordings of Cuban vocalist Enrique Herrera. Herrera emigrated to Miami following the Cuban embargo of 1959, and is still active today, performing and recording in South Florida. At the time of these vintage sessions, Herrera was gaining much critical praise and becoming increasingly popular in the nightclubs of Havana. All selections newly remastered.
