Crying - Get Olde / Second Wind [CD]

Crying would not be possible without the power of nostalgia. The New York-based band is a blend of all things old-school: they mix an understated 90’s emo influence, the spirit of punk in their original vision, and, most notably, the prominent use of a Gameboy programmed into their songs. Their first release on Run For Cover includes the critically acclaimed self-released EP, “Get Olde,” and a set of new songs on the EP “Second Wind.” All of the thirteen songs have an upbeat eloquence, but the highlight of the album is vocalist Elaiza Santos.
