Released in 1978 by Satril Records, Modern Boy marks the debut album from Vince Cadillac, the musical alias of British multi-instrumentalist and producer Tony Todd. Recorded at Pye Studios in London, this album is a dazzling showcase of Todd's distinctive fusion of rock, pop, funk, and disco. As a songwriter, Todd had already left his mark on the UK music scene through collaborations with artists like Inger Lise and Tony Dial, while also contributing heavily to the development of his own Vince Cadillac projects.
