Chicago born Barbara Pennington began her musical career when British record producer Ian Levine came to the United States in search of new talent for his new record label. By the early 1980s, she had scored several disco hits in the US, then several more Hi-NRG hits across mainland Europe. The classic 1985 album "Out of the Darkest Night," has become a fan favorite and contains many of her best loved performances. Digitally remastered.
