Circle re-issues this album which features a World Transcription session by guitarist Arthur Smith, who was a pioneer in broadcasting and recording in the Carolinas, and has been active since 1936. He achieved the unique feat of topping all three Billboard charts at the same time with "Guitar Boogie" in the 1940s. This led to his being hired to record no less than 40 numbers for World.
